With over 16 years of experience in strategy planning, Ellen is the first generation of local planner in mainland China. Ellen’s recent responsibility is to lead the whole strategy network across the Greater China area and lead for strategy, organization restructuring & culture innovation of McCANN Worldgroup.

Ellen started her planning career in TBWA network and was trained as the first generation of ‘disruptor’ and helped to build strong disruption culture for the agency in China.

One of her strategy strengths is to build strong cultural roles of international brands, her direct contribution to McDonald’s China brand platform and GE corporate communication all led to award winnings on effectiveness. The recent stories are about making L’Oreal Paris Women of Worth relevant to Chinese and interpreting Cadillac American dream to China dream.

Ellen takes a new role as the Group Managing Director of McCANN Worldgroup Shanghai last year to shape the new integration model in the agency. In 2015, she successfully launched the IMC Hub in the WorldGroup.

Ellen was recently named by Ad Age as 2015 Women to Watch China.
