Qingyun JIANG, a Ph.D in Economics from Fudan University, is now the Professor and Chairman of Marketing at Fudan University’s School of Management. Professor Jiang is also an adjunct professor at the School of Business of the University of Hong Kong, and the administrative director and vice secretary of the Chinese Marketing Association. He is an editor and member of the committee of Journal of Marketing Science, and the director of the Shanghai Marketing Association. He was once a visiting professor at the Chinese University of Hong Kong, Bocconi University in Italy and Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) Sloan, in the United States.

Professor Jiang’s research is focused on marketing channels, Internet marketing, marketing theory and business strategy management. More than fifty of his papers have been published on academic journals such as Journal of Chinese Industrial Economics, Economics Management, Fudan Journal (Science edition), Frontiers of Business Research in China and Journal of Marketing Science. Professor Jiang has also been in charge of more than ten research projects funded by the National Science Foundation of China, the Shanghai municipal government, and Fudan University as well as international foundations. His work on International Business Marketing and his translations on Marketing Channels have all been published.

Giving undergraduates, graduates, MBA and EMBA classes of Marketing Management, Strategic Management, Marketing Channel Management and Internet Marketing, Professor Jiang has been awarded teaching grants funded by Motorola, Citibank and so on. He was once named Shanghai’s outstanding young teacher, and was awarded the second prize for Shanghai’s outstanding teaching performance. In the past several years, professor Jiang developed more than 20 business cases with his colleagues, his case “Herborist” was selected by Harvard Business Case Library, “Kunlunshan Mineral Water” had been selected as one of Fudan Classic Cases (CITIC Publish House).

During these years, Professor Jiang has taken charge of more than thirty consulting projects for Shanghai Building Material Group, Shanghai Telecom, Jiangsu Zhangda Real Estate, and so on. He has also provided training for L’Oréal China, Amway China, Trane Air-conditioning China, Little Swan Group, Simon Electronics U.S., Shanghai Mobile, Hitachi Shanghai, Yanfeng Automobile, etc. and worked as both a senior consultant and independent director for several companies.
