Spencer has been working in advertising industry for more than 28 years, Ogilvy, Leo Burnett, Ball Partnership, Bates, M&C Saatchi….
after graduated from a Fine Arts student of the University of Hong Kong, and taken the MBA degree, in National University of Dublin.

He joined McCann Worldgroup in 2016, as the Executive Creative Director for Greater China, and promoted to Managing Director of Hong Kong in 2007. Under his leadership, McCann is ranked number 1 creative agency in Hong Kong since 2006. In 2009 he won the most renowned award in the industry –
Creative Person of the Year in Asia by MEDIA. McCann is also the Creative Agency of the Year in 2012 & 2014. In the past two years, he is the person who helps the Coke brand to win the most creative, digital and effectiveness awards around to world.

In January,2015, McCann Hong Kong renamed the company as McCann & Spencer.

To date, Spencer has more than 500 major creative awards under his name. He won the first two silver print lions in Cannes in 1994, the year that no gold lions given on top. In his latest 9 years, his eyes on producing innovative and interactive campaigns, that put Hong Kong advertising creativity back on the world map. He also led his company that won the first Grand Prix for Nike at Cannes in 2009, a first for the whole Great China region.

He leads at the top, while at the same time, hands on crafting almost every single details of his works with his team. He loves to create moments for creating great works.
